North Texas woman who says her brother was sexually abused at Missouri summer camp testifies at Texas Senate committee

A bill known as Trey’s Law, which aims to void NDAs in sexual abuse and trafficking cases, was up for a hearing by a Texas Senate committee Thursday.

AUSTIN, Texas — A Dallas woman who says her brother died by suicide after he was allegedly sexually abused at a Christian summer camp, and Cindy Clemishire, who accused Gateway Church founding pastor Robert Morris of sexually abusing her starting when she was 12, each testified before the Texas Senate on Thursday in support of a bill that would make NDAs in certain child sex abuse cases unenforceable.
